- To educate the public about the code of ethics guiding banking operations and the conducts of bankers
- To provide the public with practical solutions on how to address issues of misconduct by erring bankers

Key findings and results:
- Bankers are regularly trained on the ethical code of conduct applicable to their profession
- Some bankers still do not follow the ethics of their profession.
Lesson learned:
The public have a role to play in ensuring that bankers discharge their duties adhering to established ethical code of conducts. While training goes a long way in helping bankers adhere to ethical codes, it would be ideal to discipline erring bankers.
