Nigerian water producers and the code of ethics for waste management

Objective: 

1. To address the need for environmental stewardship in waste disposal  

2. To find out measures put in place by table water producers to ensure effective and efficient plastic waste disposal    

3. To educate the public about proper [plastic waste management.  

Activities:

2. Questions and answer session involving the audience  

Key findings and results: 

1. The table water producer understands the waste generated by their business in the state and the poor management of plastics waste across the state.  

2. The association of table water producers a ready to partner with organizations that are willing to help them combat the environmental harm caused by their products.  

3.  The public is on their part is not living up to their responsibility of properly disposing plastic waste.  

Lesson learned: 

Water producers are willing to contribute towards proper plastic waste management, but they need competent hands to partner with them is executing this.  

There is the urgent need for mass literacy focused on plastic waste management across the state.
