Nurturing the Future: CSAAE’s Emerging Nigerian Leaders Foundation Conference 2016
In November 2016, the Centre for Social Awareness, Advocacy, and Ethics (CSAAE) gathered 100 promising young Nigerians in Owerri for the Emerging Nigerian Leaders Foundation Conference — a pivotal event centered on one of the nation’s most pressing challenges: Corruption.
The conference aimed to equip emerging leaders with the knowledge, values, and ethical mindset necessary to combat corruption in their respective fields. Recognizing that corruption undermines national development and weakens public trust, CSAAE designed the event to challenge participants to think critically about systemic issues while empowering them to become part of the solution.

Those who actively participated in the 24 months training were inducted into a lifelong mentorship network, providing ongoing guidance, support, and access to a community of like-minded changemakers. This network continues to empower them as they pursue diverse goals — from public service to entrepreneurship — with integrity at the core of their endeavors.
