Emerging African Leaders Foundation Conference 2018 

Shaping the Future: The 2018 Emerging African Leaders Foundation Conference  In November 2018, the Centre for Social Awareness, Advocacy, and Ethics (CSAAE) hosted the impactful Emerging African Leaders Foundation Conference in FCT Abuja. This transformative event welcomed 100 passionate young leaders from diverse backgrounds, united by a shared commitment to personal growth, ethical leadership, and positive change.  The conference focused on equipping emerging leaders with the knowledge, values, and networks essential for driving Africa’s progress. Participants engaged in thought-provoking discussions, interactive workshops, and collaborative activities, all designed to foster critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and a sense of responsibility towards their communities and the continent at large.  24 participants were selected to undergo a 12 months leadership training. A defining moment of the training was the induction of the trained participants into CSAAE’s prestigious mentorship Network of Effective African Leaders. This network offers lifelong mentorship, providing continuous guidance and support as these young leaders pursue their personal and professional aspirations. From entrepreneurship to public service, advocacy to innovation, each mentee gains access to seasoned mentors who help them navigate challenges, seize opportunities, and stay grounded in ethical leadership principles.  The 2018 conference marked more than just an event — it sparked a lasting journey of transformation for its participants. Emerging African Leaders Foundation Conference 2017

In 2017, Lagos became the epicenter of transformative leadership as the Centre for Social Awareness, Advocacy, and Ethics (CSAAE) hosted the Emerging Nigerian Leaders Foundation Conference: The Cardinal Virtues for Emerging Leaders. This pivotal event brought together 100 passionate young Nigerians eager to shape their futures and contribute to the nation’s growth.  The conference focused on instilling the cardinal virtues — Prudence, Justice, Fortitude, and Temperance — essential pillars for any aspiring leader. These virtues are not just moral principles but practical guides for navigating the complexities of leadership with integrity, courage, and balance.  Like previous foundation conference, a standout feature of this conference was the selection of 24 youths to be trained in leadership skills for 12 months. Successful trainees were inducted into Network of Effective African Leaders (NEAL) lifelong support system, designed to ensure continuous guidance and mentorship as they pursue diverse personal and professional aspirations. Nurturing the Future: CSAAE’s Emerging Nigerian Leaders Foundation Conference 2016  In November 2016, the Centre for Social Awareness, Advocacy, and Ethics (CSAAE) gathered 100 promising young Nigerians in Owerri for the Emerging Nigerian Leaders Foundation Conference — a pivotal event centered on one of the nation’s most pressing challenges: Corruption.  The conference aimed to equip emerging leaders with the knowledge, values, and ethical mindset necessary to combat corruption in their respective fields. Recognizing that corruption undermines national development and weakens public trust, CSAAE designed the event to challenge participants to think critically about systemic issues while empowering them to become part of the solution.  Key Highlights of the Conference:  However, the conference wasn’t just a one-time event. 24 youths were selectred for a 24 months leadership training. With the theme “Know Your Rights and Responsibilities,” this event gathered over100 passionate participants eager to build a better, more accountable society.  A Call to Leadership and Responsibility  The conference aimed to equip young Africans with a deeper understanding of their civic rights and responsibilities — a vital foundation for fostering ethical leadership and active citizenship. CSAAE recognized that lasting change in Africa begins with individuals who not only understand their rights but also embrace their responsibilities to uplift their communities.  The event featured seasoned speakers, and dynamic discussions designed to empower attendees with practical knowledge and leadership strategies. Participants engaged in thought-provoking dialogues on topics like human rights, social justice, and ethical leadership, gaining insights that would shape their personal and professional journeys.  Impact Beyond the Conference  The conference didn’t end with the final applause. 24 youths were selected for a 24 months emersion leadership training.
